Card transactions may fail or be declined due to a number of factors. We have listed some major reasons:
▶ You may be attempting to make a payment to a merchant that falls within one of the merchant categories that are currently restricted on the Chipper Virtual Card Program e.g. merchants offering money transfer or betting services.
▶ Certain merchants may have some control in place that restricts or reject payments from customers whose payment cards were issued in a certain geographic location or even by a particular bank(s).
▶ You also may have exceeded your spending limit. Always confirm that you have not exceeded your Card's monthly/daily spend limit. You can learn more about card limits here.
