My crypto wallet address has changed. Can I still receive crypto in it?

Yes, essentially. However, for safety reasons, we strongly suggest using your new wallet address to ensure secure and seamless transactions.

What networks does Chipper use for crypto on-chain transactions?

Below are the available crypto assets and their on-chain networks on Chipper Cash:

  • Bitcoin: BTC Network and BTC Lightning Network

  • Ethereum: Ethereum Network

  • USDC/USDT: Ethereum Network, TRON Network, Solana Network, and Polgon Network

  • Dogecoin: Dogecoin Network

  • Solana: Solana Network

  • Matic: Polygon Network

  • AVAX: Avalanche C-Chain Network

  • Uniswap: Ethereum Network

  • Chainlink: ERC20

  • LiteCoin: Litecoin Network

Disclaimer: Please note that any crypto transaction done to a wrong crypto address or via a wrong crypto network is irreversible and can not be canceled. Ensure you confirm all details correctly before you hit the Send button.

When will the recipient get the crypto transaction I sent out?

Typically, it should be received within 24 hours, however, there is no specific time frame.

  • For a Bitcoin transaction, It should be received after 3 confirmations on the BlockChain.

  • For an Ethereum transaction, It should be received after 35 confirmations.

  • For a USDC transaction, It should be received after 35 confirmations.

  • For a Dogecoin transaction, It should be received after 60 confirmations.

How long will it take for me (a Chipper user) to receive cryptocurrency sent from another crypto address?

Incoming transactions show up in your account almost instantly (within a few seconds) but will show as 'Pending' until there have been enough network confirmations. Usually, the delay is under an hour or within 24 hours in some cases.

  • For BTC, It should be received after 3 confirmations.

  • For ETH, It should be received after 35 confirmations.

  • For USDC, It should be received after 35 confirmations.

  • For a Dogecoin transaction, It should be received after 60 confirmations.

What happens if I send crypto to the wrong Crypto Address?

Crypto On-chain transactions are irreversible! Please ensure you double-confirm the Crypto address before you click on Send.

The recipient has not received my crypto transaction. Why the delay?

When you send out cryptocurrency, our provider broadcasts the transaction to the rest of the network so it can be confirmed. Sometimes, provider nodes may lose sync with the rest of the network for short periods of time. This can cause transactions to remain in the "Pending" state for longer than normal.

Nevertheless, we always work to make sure transactions are processed as quickly as possible.

Why am I unable to send crypto to a Crypto Address?

The address may be an incorrect one. We advise that users copy and paste the address directly instead of typing it. Alternatively, the recipient can share their QR code with you so you can scan it.

What are the charges or fees for sending and receiving crypto?

The fee for sending crypto varies and is totally dependent on the miners. On the other hand, there is no charge for receiving cryptocurrency into your Chipper crypto wallet.

I have a problem with a crypto transaction I sent

How many days must I wait before I can conclude that an incoming crypto transaction has failed?

After a maximum of 3 days, please reach out to our support team if you are still yet to receive an incoming crypto transaction.

Can I look up my crypto transaction on the Blockchain?

Yes, you can look up a transaction via the block explorer since crypto transactions are displayed in a public ledger.

Where can I get my transaction Hash or find my crypto transaction on the Blockchain?

Go to your Activity tab and tap the transaction, then tap View Address to see your transaction Hash or status on the Blockchain.

What is Blockchain?

A blockchain is essentially a digital ledger of transactions that is duplicated and distributed across the entire network of computer systems. Each block in the chain contains a number of transactions, and every time a new transaction occurs on the blockchain, a record of that transaction is added to every participant’s ledger.

The decentralized database managed by multiple participants is known as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). You can learn more here.
