How to Participate and Win
This promo is only open to Nigerian and Ugandan customers.
Participant(s) must be a verified Chipper Cash user.
To qualify, you have to make at least 1 deposit (add cash) and at least 2 card transactions within the promo period.
Participant(s) must spend a minimum of $200 every month using their Virtual Visa Chipper Card to qualify for the Grand prize—a trip of a lifetime to watch AFCON 2023 with a loved one.
Monthly spenders of $100 or more between 8th December 2023 - 11th February 2024. can also qualify for other prizes. We will be rewarding the earliest qualifiers.
For the Grand Prize (a trip to the Total Energies CAF AFCON, Côte d'Ivoire 2023), this promo will run from 8th December 2023 - 31st December 2023
Grand Prize Winners are selected on a “first come, first served basis” between 8th December 2023 - 31st December 2023
For Other Prizes (see No. 4 in the Terms & Conditions section below), this promo will run from 8th December 2023 to 11th February 2024.
Any participant who claimed a Chipper Virtual Card before secondary verification began (June 14th, 2022) would need to provide extra documentation to claim any prize (if they win).

Terms & Conditions
The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, Côte d'Ivoire 2023 Promo (the Promotion) is brought to you courtesy of Visa. The Promotion is in conjunction with Visa, whose role is to deliver the Grand Prize experience at the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, Côte d'Ivoire 2023
The Promotion shall be held from 8th December 2023 to 31st December 2023 for the Grand Prize, while the Promotion for Other Prizes will run till 11th February 2024.
Every Participant must spend a minimum of $200 each month for the Grand Prize and $100 each month to qualify for other prizes until the end of the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, Côte d'Ivoire 2023
Participants understand and agree that the Promotion will run for a limited time, and they will not be permitted to participate in the Promotion after the expiration of the Promotion Period (8th December 2023 - 11th Feb 2024) and further agree not to raise any claim or complaint against Chipper Cash and Visa in this respect.
Participation in this Promotion is completely voluntary and the mode of lingual communication is English.
Eligibility Criteria
Entry and participation in this Promotion are open to individuals residing in Nigeria and Uganda who satisfy each of the following criteria:
Are of the age of eighteen (18) years or above.
Chipper Cash verified users with Chipper Cash Visa Card (every Participant must have submitted extra documentation during the verification process. Documents accepted are Passport, NIN, and Driver’s Licence).
Are residents of the countries of participation.
Are not Chipper Cash/Visa management, employees, directors or contractors, or the family of the management, employees, directors or contractors of Chipper Cash/Visa, their related entities or other agencies, firms or companies associated with or related to the Promotion.
Eligible persons participating or seeking to participate in the Promotion shall individually be referred to as “Participant” and collectively as “Participants”.
Chipper Cash reserves the right to perform additional checks on all selected winners by its internal compliance team before the prize presentation.
Grand Prize
Exclusive trip to the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, Côte d'Ivoire 2023 for 4 (four) lucky winners (2 male, 2 female) who meet the core requirement for 2 months prior to the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, Côte d'Ivoire 2023. The Grand Prize will include the following for each winner;
2 (two) standard return flight tickets for each winner
Cost of visa application and support for visa application (please note that winners are expected to provide all required documentation and visa application success is not guaranteed by Chipper Cash).
Hotel accommodation for each winner and one guest
All meals included
Gift packs
Airport transfers
Stadium transfers
1 match ticket
Activity/Tour
$100 is allocated as per diem per winner/per day.
Anything not listed in the point above is deemed excluded and this includes but not limited to the following;
Any meal, event and/or activity outside of the scheduled program itinerary
Hotel incidentals (e.g. phone, mini-bar, laundry, etc.)
Any applicable taxes
Other Prizes (Weekly Rolling Cash Prize )
Chipper Cash will conduct weekly Promotions where 7 lucky winners in Nigeria and 3 in Uganda are selected on a first-come-first-serve basis every week to win NGN 15,000 / UGX 10,000 each week.
A user can only win once (i.e. 120 unique winners during the promo period).
Users must have already spent $100 to qualify.
Participation is subject to all terms and conditions of the Grand Prize.
Exclusive invites to watch parties (names will be verified with physical ID at the door).
Chipper x Visa merchandise prizes
Winner Selection
Winners are selected through a scientific process on a “first come first serve” basis with no element of chance or random sampling selection. The winners are selected based on the data on our platform on winners who qualify first.
Chipper Cash reserves the right to completely disqualify a Participant from the Promotion if any sign of potential or actual syndication arises. No query or complaint will be entertained in this regard.
No submission after 11th February 2024 will be considered for the Promotion.
Chipper Cash reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Promotion or any participant acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Chipper Cash reserves the right to select and remove winners if there is a suspicion of fraud or any attempt to commit fraud.

A spend means a cleared and settled transaction (reversed transactions and chargebacks do not count as qualifying transactions)
The winners will be contacted through the Chipper app and via email to arrange for the prize collection. However, if a winner doesn’t reply to the messages within 3 days of approach, Chipper Cash reserves the right to change its decision and select the next winner.
Prizes are not transferable on any occasion.
Intellectual Property Rights
All information submitted in connection with the Promotion shall remain the sole property of Chipper Cash.
Chipper Cash will have the right to use the information or other relevant personal data for this Promotion.
Other Terms
By participating in this Promotion, the Participant agrees to give Chipper Cash permission/consent/authorisation to use their data for re-marketing purposes.
The Participant agrees to be bound by the terms, including giving consent/authorisation, in particular, those relating to the collection, retention and use, and sharing of personal data.
By participating in this Promotion, the Participant expressly confirms and represents that he/she has read the Terms & Conditions of the Promotion and duly authorised/permits Chipper Cash to use their names, pictures, personal details, etc. provided by them through call, social media or any other means to cover the Promotion and declare winners through various media including different internet/digital platforms, newspapers, radio, television, etc., and shall not raise any objection, protest or demur to such coverage or in this regard.
The Participant confirms that he/she is not breaching any law or violating any third-party rights by participating in this Promotion.
An incomplete/invalid transaction by a Participant is liable to be rejected. Chipper Cash reserves the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason thereof. Any decision taken by Chipper Cash for rejecting any entry shall be final and binding and not subject to any dispute or challenge.
The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
Chipper Cash reserves the right to withdraw, change, defer, alter or cancel this Promotion in part or full, or change any or all of the terms and conditions that are applicable, without giving prior intimation/notice of any kind and will not be liable for any consequential losses/damages. Any decision of Chipper Cash in this regard and in general concerning this Promotion and the terms and conditions thereto shall be final and binding.
If a Participant is dissatisfied with the Promotion and/or the terms and conditions of the Promotion, his/her sole and exclusive remedy is not to participate in the Promotion.
By participating in the Promotion, Participants agree to release and hold Chipper Cash harmless from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion.
Participation in this Promotion would mean you have read all the terms and conditions and upon understanding and agreeing over those, hereby express your consent to participate in the Promotion.
