Fees

  1. One-time Stock Access Fee (To sign up and access the product)$10

  2. Monthly Maintenance Fee$1

  3. Trading Fees (Effective January 22, 2024)

    1. For transactions below $10,000 ➡ 0.15% of the value of the transaction (We have reduced this fee from 1% to 0.15%)

    2. For transactions above $10,000 ➡ $15 fixed fee

To keep up with global pricing and serve you better, we have introduced "USD Wallet". This will be the Primary Currency for all stock-related transactions.


This means that going forward, all stock activities, including buying, selling, dividend payments, and divided taxing, will now be processed to and from your Chipper USD wallet—not your local currency wallet.

Kindly ensure your Chipper app is updated to the latest version on your App Store or Play Store. Then log into your Chipper account and follow the steps below:

How to Buy Stocks

  1. Log into your Chipper Cash account and tap "Convert" on your Home tab


  2. Enter the preferred amount, check the details, and tap "Confirm" to complete the transaction

  3. Go to your Invest tab and select Stocks, then tap Begin Investing

  4. Select a company of your choice and tap Buy

  5. Enter an amount and tap Next

  6. Reconfirm the transaction details and tap Buy Now

  7. You should get a successful transaction confirmation


How to Sell Stocks

  1. Go to your Invest tab and select Stocks

  2. Select any of your stock investments and tap Sell

  3. Enter an amount and tap Next

  4. Reconfirm the transaction details and tap Sell

  5. You should get a successful transaction confirmation


Once sold, you can follow the steps below to CONVERT your sale proceeds from USD to your Local Currency

  1. Tap the Country Flag icon on your Home page

  2. Select USD

  3. Tap "Convert"

  4. Enter the preferred amount and tap Next to view the amount and exchange rate.

  5. Tap Confirm to complete the process.
