To ensure a seamless and smooth experience, we've put together a step-by-step guide below:
Step 1: Claim your Chipper USD Virtual Account:
Update your Chipper Cash app to the latest version
Launch the app and log into your account
Tap on the Add Cash button on your Homepage
Claim your USD account number. Chipper Cash will issue you a virtual account number, routing number, bank name, account type, and address. This information will be provided to you securely via our platform.

Step 2: Access your External (Personal) Bank Account
Go to the online banking portal or mobile banking app that your bank provides. For example, if you bank with Wells Fargo, visit the Wells Fargo online banking website or open the Wells Fargo mobile banking app
Step 3: Initiate the Transfer
Locate the option to initiate a transfer or send money. Depending on your bank, this option may be labeled differently, e.g., "Transfer Funds," "Send Money," or "Make a Payment"
Choose the "ACH" or "Wire Transfer" option depending on your preference and desired transfer speed.
Step 4: Enter Chipper USD Virtual Account Details
Enter your Chipper USD virtual account number, routing number, bank name, account type, and address provided by Chipper Cash into the relevant fields on your bank's transfer form.
Ensure that all details are entered accurately to prevent any delays or issues with the transfer.
Step 5: Specify the Transfer Amount and Currency
Enter the amount you wish to transfer to your Chipper USD Virtual Account.
Specify the currency as USD to ensure the funds are correctly deposited into your Chipper wallet.
Step 6: Confirm and Initiate the Transfer
Review the transfer details for accuracy.
Confirm the transfer and initiate it according to your bank's process
Step 7: Monitor the Transfer Status
Keep an eye on your bank account for updates regarding the transfer status.
The funds will be added to your Chipper wallet once the transfer is completed.
Step 8: Verify the Funds on the Chipper Cash app
Log into your Chipper Cash app to verify the funds have been credited to your wallet.
You should see the transferred amount reflected in your USD balance.
