How to reset my Chipper Cash PIN (Auto-Reset)

Learn how to reset your Chipper account PIN automatically

The simple steps below will teach you how to automatically reset your Chipper PIN as a verified or unverified user.


For a more seamless experience please ensure;

  1. Your device is running on the latest version of the Chipper Cash app

  2. You add a valid email to your profile by clicking on Profile > Personal > Add email

    💡 Adding an email to your profile will allow for an alternative channel to receive the OTP.

You can now follow the steps below to reset your PIN 🙂

Verified Users

  1. Tap Forgot PIN?
    ​

  2. Select the Forgot PIN option
    ​

  3. Enter the ID/Document number(verified on your Chipper account) and your Date of Birth. Then tap Next.
    ​

  4. Enter the 6-digit code sent to the phone number or email address displayed on your screen
    ​

  5. Enter your brand new PIN
    ​

  6. Confirm your brand new PIN
    ​

  7. PIN reset successfully

Unverified Users

  1. Tap Forgot PIN?

  2. Select the Forgot PIN option
    ​

  3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your registered phone number or email address displayed on the screen
    ​

  4. Enter your brand new PIN
    ​

  5. Confirm your brand new PIN
    ​

  6. PIN reset successfully
