The Freeze Card function enables you to temporarily deactivate your Chipper Virtual Card in order to prevent it from being used for any transaction. You can always Unfreeze the Card whenever you want to.
💡 Please note that a frozen card will still incur a decline fee if a transaction gets declined due to insufficient funds.
To Freeze your Card, start by logging into your Chipper account:
Log into your Chipper app and go to your Card tab
Tap on the "More" icon
Select Freeze card
Your card will be instantly frozen
To Unfreeze your Card:
Simply go to your Card tab and tap the Unfreeze card button at the bottom of the screen
Enter your Chipper PIN to successfully unfreeze your Card
