Ensuring your Chipper Virtual Card remains active is essential for uninterrupted subscriptions and other payments. Follow these steps to schedule card funding:

How to Set Up a Card Funding Schedule

  1. Log into your Chipper Cash app and go to the Card tab.

  2. On the Card screen, tap the "Schedule" button to schedule a top-up.

  3. Enter the Amount.

  4. Select your preferred schedule and frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly).

  5. Once done, tap the "Top up" button and confirm the transaction by entering your Chipper PIN.

  6. Your card funding schedule should be set up successfully!

❗Important: For smooth functionality, ensure you always have sufficient funds in your Chipper wallet.


Managing Your Scheduled Funding

Once you've set up scheduled funding, you can view your active schedule on the card home screen. The screen will display your scheduled funding details, including the schedule period.

To cancel a scheduled funding:

  1. Go to your Card home screen.

  2. Locate and select the card funding schedule you already set up.

  3. Click on the scheduled funding details.

  4. Select the option to "Cancel" the card funding schedule.

❗ Important: You currently cannot modify an existing scheduled funding. If you need to make any changes (such as amount or frequency), you must:

  • Cancel your current scheduled funding or;

  • Set up a new schedule based on your preference.

What happens if I don't have sufficient funds in my wallet when a scheduled funding is due?

The scheduled funding will not be processed if you don't have sufficient funds in your wallet. You'll also receive a notification explaining that the scheduled funding failed due to insufficient funds. To prevent this:

  • Always maintain a sufficient balance in your wallet balance.

  • Consider scheduling funding dates around your incoming deposits.

Can I modify my funding schedule once it's set up?

No, you cannot modify an existing funding schedule. If you need to make any changes, you must:

  1. Cancel your current scheduled funding or;

  2. Set up a new schedule based on your preference.

Any changes to amount, frequency, or source wallet require setting up a new schedule.

Can I pause my scheduled funding temporarily?

No, the system doesn't support pausing scheduled funding at the moment. The only options available are:

  1. Continue with the current schedule

  2. Cancel the schedule entirely. If you need to resume scheduled funding later, you'll need to set up a new schedule.

Will my scheduled card funding set-up continue if my card gets deactivated?

No, scheduled funding will not work with a deactivated card. If your card is deactivated and you claim a new one, you'll need to:
