Important Note:
✅ You can link your Chipper USD card to PayPal for payments and purchases.
❌ You cannot withdraw funds from PayPal to your Chipper USD card.
Steps to Link Your Chipper USD Card to PayPal
1️⃣ Log in to Your PayPal Account
Visit www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
2️⃣ Go to "Wallet"
Click on "Wallet" at the top of the page.
Select "Link a Card" or "Link a Debit or Credit Card."
3️⃣ Enter Your Chipper USD Card Details
Choose "Debit or Credit Card" as the option.
Enter your Chipper USD card number, expiry date, and CVV.
Use the billing address linked to your Chipper USD card (Check this on your Chipper app).
4️⃣ Confirm and Link Your Card
Click "Link Card" to proceed.
PayPal may deduct a small verification charge (which will be refunded).
You may receive an OTP (One-Time Password) to confirm the linking process.
5️⃣ Verify Your Card (If Required)
If PayPal asks for additional verification, check your Chipper card statement for a four-digit code in the transaction details.
Enter this code on PayPal to complete the verification.
Using Your Chipper USD Card on PayPal
✅ You can use the card to make payments, subscribe to services, and shop online.
❌ Withdrawals from PayPal to the Chipper USD card are NOT supported. Alternative for Withdrawals:
If you need to withdraw from PayPal, consider linking your Chipper USD virtual account.
Troubleshooting Steps if the Card Linking Fails
🔹 "Your card was declined" Error:
Ensure your Chipper USD card is funded before attempting to link it.
Check if your billing address on PayPal matches the billing address on your Chipper card.
Try again after a few hours, as PayPal may temporarily block multiple attempts.
🔹 "Card not accepted" Error:
PayPal may restrict some prepaid or virtual cards. Unfortunately, this is beyond Chipper’s control.
Try linking the card using a desktop browser instead of the PayPal mobile app.
🔹 Didn’t receive an OTP for verification?
Ensure your phone number and email are correct in your PayPal and Chipper accounts.
Check your spam/junk email folder if PayPal sends OTP via email.
