Is my Chipper NGN Virtual Card directly connected to my Chipper Wallet?

No, your Chipper Card is not automatically tied to your Chipper Wallet in the same way your bank card service works! This means that your Chipper Card balance is different from your Chipper Wallet balance.

Your Chipper Card would need to be funded from your Chipper Wallet before it can be used.


On what platforms can I use my Chipper NGN Virtual Card?

You can spend the card online anywhere Visa cards are accepted locally (within Nigeria). This includes merchants such as Bolt, Jumia, Konga, and so on.

However, please note that you can only use the card on merchant sites that fall under our approved/supported merchant categories. The list of supported and unsupported merchant categories may evolve over time. We reserve the right to modify the list to meet certain legal and regulatory obligations.


What Countries is the Chipper Virtual Card available in?

At the moment, the Chipper Virtual Card service is only available to users in Nigeria.
