We understand that the experience of being unable to access your Chipper account can be very stressful and frustrating. Honestly, we also do not enjoy restricting account access-- as we always aim for the best user experience possible.

However, we sometimes have to do this to meet certain legal and regulatory obligations which are in line with our terms and conditions in the bid to protect our users and fight against financial crime.

Below are some of the reasons you may be unable to access your account:

  1. When we think your account might be compromised or at risk

  2. Another user has reported a malicious transaction with your account and we'd like to have a conversation with you on this

  3. We notice inconsistent activity on your account and our control systems froze your account in order to bring your attention to this

  4. A financial institution or regulatory body has raised an issue that requires we freeze your account until further notice

  5. You have more than one account which goes against our terms and conditions

Irrespective of whichever category your case falls under, we are always happy to help you get it resolved as you cooperate with us.

We are here to assist!🙂
