💡 The fees below will take effect from Friday, March 1st, 2024:

Decline Fee | 1,000 UGX |
International Transaction Fee | 5% of the transaction amount |
Domestic Transaction Fee | 2% of the transaction amount |
Fees for Stock Trading
💡 Effective February 12th, 2024, the following fees will be charged for trading in U.S. stocks on the Chipper Cash app:
First-time Stocks Access Fee (To sign up and access the product) | $10 (USD) |
Monthly Maintenance Fee | $1 (USD) |
Trading Fee (Buy & Sell) | 0.15% of the value of the transaction |
Free allowances and thresholds:
Regular users | Free withdrawals up to 20 times or up to UGX 5,500,000.00 in free withdrawals (transfers to mobile money/bank) a month |
High volume users | Free withdrawals up to 20 times or up to UGX 5,500,000.00 in free withdrawals (transfers to mobile money/bank) a month. After this threshold, standard withdrawal fees to mobile money and banks apply |
High-volume / high-value users | Deposit and withdrawal fees apply |
