Please follow the steps below to successfully take a selfie for verification purposes:
Find a well-lit area: Make sure you're in a well-lit area, preferably in front of a window or in a room with good lighting. This will help ensure that your face is clearly visible in the selfie.
Check your camera settings: Make sure that your camera is set to take high-quality photos and that your front-facing camera is selected.
Avoid filters and editing: Do not use filters or edit your selfie in any way. Our system needs to compare your selfie to the photo on your ID, so it's important that the image is accurate and unaltered.
Face the camera directly: Position yourself so that your face is directly facing the camera. Make sure that your entire face is visible, including your forehead, chin, and ears.
Remove any obstructions: Remove anything that may be obstructing your face, such as hats, sunglasses, or scarves. Your face must be fully visible in the selfie.
Keep a neutral expression: Keep a neutral expression on your face and do not smile or make any other facial expressions.
Take the photo: When you're ready, click on the "Take a Selfie" button and follow the prompts to take the selfie:
Frame your face in the center of the circle.
Hold still and look at the camera, then blink naturally.
You’ll see a message saying “Verifying you’re one of a kind”.
Once you have concluded and it is done correctly, you’ll see a green checkmark in the middle of the circle.
If done incorrectly, you’ll see an error message, and you may try again. Some errors may include “Blink check failed".
Wait for verification: Our system will compare your selfie to the photo on your ID to confirm your identity. If everything matches, you'll be verified and can continue using our platform.
