In order to comply with the financial regulations that guide our operations, it is required that customers provide us with valid documentation and identification to successfully verify their accounts.

We recommend you go through this process using a strong and secure Wi-Fi connection to avoid interruptions. Please follow the clear, on-screen instructions at every stage in the process.

Kindly ensure your Chipper Cash app is updated to the latest version on Playstore/App Store, then follow the steps below:

  1. Go to your Profile page at the top-right corner of your Home tab

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page and tap Get Verified

  3. Tap “Begin Verification” and follow the on-screen instructions

  4. Once you click on Begin Verification, the next page asks you to submit a video selfie. Please ensure your camera permission is enabled so that you can take the selfie.
Complete your Selfie Verification by following the on-screen instructions.
💡 You can learn how to take a Selfie for account verification.

  5. After submitting the video selfie, you will be redirected to the Chipper app, where you will click on the verification document you would like to submit.

  6. Please take a clear picture of the front of your ID document

  7. Enter your ID Document number and tap Continue to complete your submission

  8. Once submitted, please allow 24-48 hours for us to review your submission.
You can always confirm the status of your verification on your profile page while you wait.

  9. If your verification fails or is rejected, the reason will be displayed on the "Profile" tab.
In that case, you can re-submit your ID using the same process as above.
