The Chipper ecosystem is a community built on trust; therefore, to continue using your Chipper account, you must submit valid documentation to verify your account. This is also in line with certain regulations guiding our scope of operations.
We recommend you go through this process using a strong and secure Wi-Fi connection to avoid interruptions. Please follow the clear, on-screen instructions at every stage in the process.
Kindly ensure your Chipper Cash app is updated to the latest version on Playstore/App Store, then follow the steps below:
Go to your Profile page at the top-right corner of your Home tab
At the very bottom of the "Profile" page, you will see the option to "Get Verified"
Select “Begin Verification” and follow the given instructions
Once you click on Begin Verification, the next page asks you to submit a video selfie. Please ensure your camera permissions are enabled to take the selfie.
Complete your Selfie Verification by following the on-screen instructions. You can learn how to take a Selfie here.
After submitting the video selfie, you will be redirected to the Chipper app, where you will click on the verification document you would like to submit.
Enter your ID document number as shown on the screen and tap Submit to complete your submission
Once submitted, please allow 24-48 hours for us to review your submission.
You can always confirm the status of your verification on your profile page while you wait.If your verification fails or is rejected, the reason will be displayed on the "Profile" tab.
In that case, you can resubmit your ID by following the same process above.
